I have been a paying member of Flickr since a long time now. But the service has been becoming painful to use over this time.
Look at this image:
Every time I try to upload something, it shows an error. But the file is uploaded perfectly. I ended up with hundreds of duplicates because of this problem.
And I still have failed to find a way to get offline all the images I have uploaded on the Flickr service.
Looking at how Yahoo is struggling to compete against Microsoft and Google… I need to find a reliable way to get the images on another medium.
I hope they provide an easier way than to use their APIs… which is so darn unreliable that I have given up on the idea of downloading the photos through them.
