Microsoft has launched Bing.com finally. I really fail to see anything exciting in this updated Live Search.
I am getting some hits from Bing which is not surprising considering MSN used to send some people to this blog in the past as well.
The launch of Bing.com has me amused. Microsoft owns some nice domains but use none of them effectively.
They have
Start.com: It redirects you to Live.com
Live.com: It redirects you to Bing.com
Kumo.com: It was supposed to be the new search destination but…
Bing.com arrived.
Given that you get $$$ from Google via ads, it is no wonder you are dissing Bing. I tried Bing and I like it much better.
I understand that for some people, the habit of using Google is hard to break. But I broke my Google habit and I am now using Bing.
No I wasn't swayed by the commercials; I don't own a TV. I heard about Bing through TechCrunch, and decided to try it.
You should also try: Blindsearch.fejus.com. The blind search taste test: Google is getting about 40-50% of the anonymous results, which is odd since Google commands 80% or more of search space queries. I wonder if people are using Google just because they perceive it to be better than its competitors even if it isn't.
