Things were looking great for Mr. Mallya yesterday. Force India was in a good position to score their first points of the season and Bangalore Royal Challengers were in the finals of the Indian Premier League 2009 tournament.

However, it was not to be. Force India took the ninth spot. Just short of scoring a point. Bangalore made a mess of their chase and lost the match to Deccan Chargers.

I feel pretty sad for Mallya. The look on his face last night during the match showed how much disappointed he was. To be in Monaco for the Formula-1 and then travelling to South Africa to see your team lose the finals… It gotta hurt bad.
