Airtel seems to have launched a new marketing campaign named The Impatient Ones.
The campaign is designed to showcase people who are of course impatient and cannot live with slow internet connectivity.
Mind you. This is the same company which has implemented a Fair Usage Policy restricting how much you can download at the promised speed on the supposedly unlimited packages.
The company highlights 16mbps broadband connection on this website. When they only have 1mbps as the fastest connection available with unlimited data transfer limits. And that too is limited to 100GB under the Airtel Fair Usage Policy.

Update: This campaign is part of their launch of new 16mbps plans. Limits? 20 GB and 50 GB. Cost? Rs. 3000 and Rs. 5000.

Airtel aint the first to introduce the fair use policy…..many major internation isp has done it in the past….
And out of your poll….
leaving out airtel doesnt have coverage in my area….
combining the rest….66% of voters want this connection….
many international ISPs also upgrade their network with time. and they are not stuck in the stone ages when it comes to broadband.
airtel has kept the same packages for years now. prices are also static.
broadband is supposed to get cheaper with time. apparently, that logic does not work in india.
and from the poll i see 67% not in favor of airtel broadband.
but i believe i m getting speeds worth 2 mbps.
i check at speed.ncr.airtelbroadband.in
i beg to differ… surprisingly airtel gives me the speed they commit..
not a poor choice. i must admit
but I love the ad.. maybe because I am an impatient one..
Show responsible young indians not impatient .
@Akash It’s not about being responsible or being Indian, being connected a24x7 and being impatient is one of the characteristics of this generation (also known as Generation Y).. So now u know who’s the target audience for this advt..
