I had never imagined I would be buying a Yamaha bike after they messed up their Indian product in the past couple of years.

But when I first saw FZ16, I kinda loved it and decided to check it out.

It was perfect for me. Affordable at around Rs. 70,000. Not very powerful (I am a bad two wheeler rider)… And it looks good too.

The rear wheel of this bike look fantastic.

Faced two problems in the first two days of ownership. The headlight was misaligned. I got that fixed today. Would check tonight if it works as per my liking.

The horn on the bike is terrible. Sounds even worse than the scooters we have here in India. No solutions for that. I can replace it with a more powerful unit but the Yamaha person suggested to avoid doing that. Reason being the bike has no kick (just like Pulsar 200)… So, if the battery dies down, I would be a very angry man standing on the road looking for some help.
