I have had a terrible time dealing with the morons at Zee Dish TV. The guys have practically tortured me with their services in the recent times.
Their billing mechanism is FCUKED up. Their call center guys are turning out to be a bigger bunch of fools than even Sify Broadband monkeys.
Latest Case: I had purchased a child connection last year in May. They had promised that it came with one year of free service. Apparently, this meant that they were putting in 1500 bucks deposit in the connection’s name. So, if they changed the prices of their channels during that period, the money would disappear at a faster pace. And just that happened.
In the end, their customer care guys are unable to explain the mess my connection now is. And I am calling my local cable dude to discuss a business opportunity for him. I am pretty sure he would not be very eager to deal with me again.
These are the funny things. Once I used to struggle to get reliable internet connectivity at my place. Now I have that. TV has turned out to be a bigger mess.
TRAI has been useless in this case. They have set up proper rules and regulations for CAS providers. But DTH companies? They are practically free to do whatever they want.
Times have changed since I blogged about Zee long time back.
