There is some amusing news. The admission of AIR ranks 1601 onwards have been cancelled. They will have to fill fresh forms or stick to he the old ones as there has been some error on the part of the IITs.

your rank in iit u will get some branches(Civil,ceramic,paper and pulp) in iit guhawati and almost all in it-bhu and ism dhanbad, which according to me u shouldn't take becoz they are not of IIT standards and u are a great talent. You should go for bits pilani comp science if you want to do M.S. or pursue your career in Computer science becoz bits pilani is considered to be equivalent to IIT's.The best deal in your hands is BITS.

i got 410/450 in bitsat,rank 222(state rank 22) in aieee,16 in manipal,and top ranks in all other exams(nmims-rank2,etc.). was even expecting in top 50 or min top-100 in iit-jee(expected score acc to fiitjee and resonance solutions=352).now, why the hell did i get air-2814? any idea?pls do even give some clue abt where to join now.i'm zeroing on bits-pilani-comp science.may even get civil in iit.how tough is it to upgrade?pls help.contact asap

Congrat's on getting through the JEE. However, it would be difficult to
get into Elec and Mech at any of the IITS. You can try IT-BHU.

Use the following link to get the CUT OFF AIR's for various departments at the IIT.
