My saga with the cable guys continue.

I have two Dish TV DTH connections. I needed one more as I got a television set for my personal use.

I did not want to get another child connection with Zee as the service sucks and a lot of channels are missing.

I checked out Airtel and it is obscenely overpriced. I do not need the Neo channels but I would pay for them if I need the English movie channels along with Star Sports and ESPN.

So, I decided to check out my local cable guy once again.

First he refused to drill a hole in the window that is required for the wire to come into the basement.

I managed to find someone who made a hole.

I called the cable guy once again and this time he had another disappointing tale for me. They are out of set top boxes and they are not sure when they will get the new batch.

Without the Hathway box they give, the quality of cable is crap and you get less than 50-60 channels which are clear.

So, I am stuck again. I would have to get another DTH connection or wait for the cable guy to get his STB shipment.
