Yahoo is the latest of the three to offer an ajaxified web based calendar service. Google launched it first and it still rocks.

Microsoft was second but they had a serious problem. If you wanted to switch to the new calendar version, you would have to start afresh. The largest software company cannot develop a solution to import events from their older calendar service to the new one!

Yahoo has now launched their latest calendar version and it is a decent effort. They imported all the older events so it rocks. But sadly they are not smart enough to realize that Google Chrome is a browser product available in the market which is based on Webkit. So, if they can allow me to use the service in Apple Safari, they should allow me to use it in Google Chrome as well.

If you are taking on a company like Google, you better work well from day one. I am going back to Google Calendar.
