Preferential Treatment by Dhaba Wala on Delhi Jaipur Highway
Everyone must have noticed the concept of preferential treatment sometime or the other. However, I was amazed to experience it on a dhaba last night. We went roaming on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway after midnight and landed on the same dhaba we go regularly. Normally, we go there in a teeny tiny Maruti 800. This time we went in the Hyundai Accent CRDI of the friend accompanying me.
The difference in the treatment was amazing. We had paper napkins on the khatiya 
, one of the dude was constantly hovering around our table asking for anything we required. There was special salad served. In the end, the bill was delivered on a plate full of saunf and chini (for this we had to hunt the dhaba on normal occasions).
The bill amount we got was rather similar to earlier occasions. The car we used to visit the dhaba made all the difference!
