This is the first version of Internet Explorer since version 7 that is actually somewhat usable. They have fixed some of the worst visual crapness.
However, Microsoft remains Microsoft.
I had to manually uninstall Internet Explorer Beta 1. Then restart. Then install Internet Explorer Beta 2. Then restart. To get it working.
And this edition has a long list of things that are incompatible. In fact, I read that even Windows Live Mail is incompatible with IE Beta 2.
This is pretty incredible stuff.

I love this new version of explorer and had no trouble installing it whatsoever. Windows Live Mail and all other Live services work just fine with it. The ONLY thing I have noticed is that the on-line Live Care scan is not compatible so the free service isn't available if you have installed the beta 2. If you are a OneCare subscriber however (as I am) that is of minimal concern (and I'm sure it'll be fixed eventually).
