The movie is not as good as I had expected it to be. But it’s alright. Much better than the other movie we had this week (Love Story 2050)…
Imran Khan does well in his first movie. Has a deep voice and is likely to do well in the Bollywood. Provided he stays away from the Yash Chopra camp (I am sure he would…).
Genelia D’Souza is not a new comer and she is still to learn to act. Music as I have already said is pretty decent.
The fun part of the movie was all about special appearances. There were a lot.
We have Jayant Kripalani as the heroine’s dad. We have Ratna Pathak as the Hero’s mom. Naseeruddin Shah (!) as the Hero’s dead dad. Rajat Kapoor, Kitu Gidwani as the Hero’s girlfriend’s dad and mom.
We even have 2/3rd of the Salman Khan family in the form of Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. Last but not the least… Paresh Rawal!
Awesome star cast.
Almost everyone in the movie seems to be living in denial. This includes the hero, the heroine, hero’s mom, hero’s girlfriend (no, she is not the heroine for most part of the film).
Naseeruddin is awesome as the dead dad who talks to his wife (on-screen and off-screen!) about their son who is destined to do the Rathore family proud someday.
Predictable fun movie. Check it out for the songs. Check it out for the Aamir Khan II. And check it out for all the entertaining special appearances!
