PVR has messed up PVR Naraina

PVR Naraina happens to be my favorite PVR… It is accessible. Tickets are easily available and the theater is not that shabby either. Rates are great for morning shows.

PVR has apparently now downgraded it. It used to get all the good movies that PVR had in its bouquet. Looks like it is now one of their low-class theaters. No Sex and the City and no Get Smart and no Persepolis.

Instead we get Dasavatharam and other crap stuff like Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic and Thodi Life Thoda Magic.

I have seen some of the most off-beat movies at this particular theater and I guess it no longer is going to be my choice of place to check out movies. :(

Update: It took PVR two days to reply with a computer generated message. Excellent.

  1. So I went to this IBNMS seminar yesterday where a dude was talking about how to use blogs and new media for corporate branding. He said that companies like McDonalds and other companies have people who visit blogs/social networks and find content related to their products/services, and then leave comments over there and reply, trying to justify/ask for more feedback from the community.

I just hope that PVR too sees this post and responds with a reason as to why they are degrading services instead of improving. Low profits seem to be the main reason, but they can cover that up from other areas such as the taxes they levy on the food and by offering other paid services inside the hall like delivery on seat and deluxe cinemas (with recliners etc.)
