This is because you havent downloaded the Micrososft fonts. Like it or not, the default fonts suck.

Just came across this post when I was searching the Net. I remember this is a known FF3 issue and I think is planned to be addressed in FF3.1. But saw this addon in the mean time: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/...
