The only good thing about the tournament was that the best team won. The players who were sold for millions failed to justify their worth. Young players got a chance to play with some of the best cricketers in the world. And we got to see Lalit Modi act as a spot boy passing on the medals and mementos to Sharad Pawar during the final presentation. The guy is amazing. One media report claims that he is worth around Rs. 8000 crores. Some other reports say that he is a fraudster facing criminal lawsuits. Jai ho cricket.
It was also good to see that the match did not go through a bowl out. That is a disgrace to the game.
