What about Apple iTunes in India?

Now that it is confirmed that Apple iPhone would be sold in India by both Airtel and Vodafone, the next question is when would Apple launch the iTunes in the Indian market?

Apple iTunes is unlikely to be very successful in India considering people do not like to pay for digital media.

But if the iPhone is indeed going to be sold in India, people would love to buy iPhone applications that would be offered in other markets for the iPhone.

Or maybe, Apple does not really care and would just have the money from both Airtel and Vodafone for the outdated first generation iPhone! Especially considering the iPhone is out of stock in both US and UK and market reports suggest that the international markets are all set to get the second generation iPhone that would support 3G.

We are unlikely to see the 3G edition of iPhone being sold in India officially. First, it makes no sense considering we do not even have 3G in India. Second, why would Apple bother to make available the second generation model in India when we would suck up the old generation one!

    Hi,
There are several good iPhone membership sites online where for about $30-$50 one-time fee, you get a lifetime of unlimited iPhone downloads including iPhone movies, iPhone games, iPhone music, iPhone music videos, ringtones, wallpaper and much more. Just make sure you choose one from a good review site.
