Tax planning isn’t avoiding taxes, it’s the government which attempts to take everything from you if you don’t go to the bottom of it. I have the luck that my parents are tax advisors so they can help me with it…

I didn’t say you are into Tax Avoidance… I was just saying Tax planning is a legal way to avoid tax.

i am not into tax avoidance :O

i got a pan number and i paid my dues last year. plan to do the same this year. just cannot remember the details about some of the trasactions that took place in the last 12 months…

There is a difference between Tax Planning and tax avoidance, the latter may be illegal method but not the former.

Tax planning invloves taking advantage of the exemptions, deductions, etc in an intelligent way, further to exploit loopholes, so that tax is reduced to the minimum.

There are books available for Tax Planning. It is taught to every commerce graduate.
