BCCI and the hunger for money
Reading about the issues related to copyrights of the photos of the IPL Tournament… I am now waiting for the time when BCCI would have copyrighted the term CRICKET and requires every blogger to pay them a dollar for mentioning the term in a blog post.
The game is heading for a doom. Few nations play it. Even few nations play it good enough. No team wants to play against teams like Bangladesh. How is the game going to expand into other countries? Duh. We would rather care about ourselves and get as much money as we can. But we do not care about providing good seats and loos in the stadiums in our own country.
I am also disappointed to hear that the pitch for tomorrow’s match is said to be manipulated to suit the Indian team. They need to win this test match to save the series. And they can only win if they get a pitch that suits their three spinner combination. I hope they lose the match.
