Insanity Rediscovered

The problem continues though on a smaller scale.

For the second time this month I found myself in a long queue. I purchased their temporary ticket which they issue to waiting cars to speed up the processing.

By the time I reached the booth, the queue was so long that they opened the expressway for all the cars.

I am pretty sure that by that time they would have issued the temporary slips to at least 50-100 cars in the queue.

They do not give these customers the printed bill unless you ask them. I am not sure if the management checks this probable fraud by counting the money collected by the issuers of the temporary passes…

I stopped on the booth and asked for the bill. I was given the bill without much hassle but still make no sense. If I had delayed my trip by five minutes, I would have saved myself Rs. 16 and the time I wasted in that queue.
