The statistics here though true, are a bit skewed to make the government look like villains.

A few observations:

1) Excepting bottled water, all the other liquids mentioned above are not consumed in litres and gallons by gazillions of people. Now, we dont pay for water( at least now) and that leaves us with nothing.

2) Excepting human blood, all the above mentioned liquids can be obtained by mass production. Crude oil is not one such commodity.

Petrol and Petroleum products prices will keep increasing no matter what. The only alternative solution to this is bio-fuels, energy from self-rechargable batteries.
