Tata Sky marketing crapness
Tata Sky might be advertising widely that they are now selling the connection for just Rs. 1499. But the truth is that the deal is kind of stupid compared to their earlier offering.
They charge Rs. 1000 for installation. And this connection comes with no free months of viewing. So you pay Rs. 2500 for the connection only.
Now compare that to the 6 months free package which came at the previous cost of the STB and the Dish… You would have saved Rs. 300 in that package. Considering you got a discount of around Rs. 1800 through six months of free viewing!
