When I came back to my home & had my stuff shifted & rewired. I was expecting airtel to charge for it. So I went out of the way to get everything fixed/installed everywhere. He rewired my place when I shited my pc from ground floor to 2nd floor. I had him rewire my 2nd connection. They had to drill through 3 different walls, and I had the socket installed in gfloor, 1st floor and 2nd floor too. And the fu^k head who installed this, called up his boss and asking whether to charge or not. And it was a sursprise that all this was done free.

But hell compare this to Tata Indicom installation, where they charge of every thing. Even if you pay the installation its flimsy, unprofessional.

well we have never been charged for shifting the connection. i got my connection shifted earlier this month. i would check the next bill for any charges... it would suck though.

however, 300 rupees is still a reasonable rate when we compare to what zee dish tv and tata sky charges. airtel has to do all the rewiring but dth is wireless and not much hassle for them to move the connection to a new place!

in fact, zee guys charged me for cable to my tv. they give i think 12 meters free with the package. which is pretty disgusting.
