Parantha Wala at Convergys Gurgaon
I had heard a lot about this paranthey wala supposed to be alongside the Convergys Building in Gurgaon on the Delhi Jaipur Highway. So, at 2am tonight… we just decided to give it a visit. We picked up the car and roaming around went to the Convergys building. Damn, it was like we were in Toyota land! I have never seen so many Qualis Vehicles at one place before… It was like damn… where the hell are well!
Anyways… We went to the Parantha wala and ordered the same. I ordered an Egg Bhurjee for myself. Egg Bhurji was of course fine, but my dear friend just found the paranthas distasteful. I tasted it out of curiosity and well he was right. It was just inedible.
Maybe it was bad luck or our misfortune. But I do not think I am going to take the risk again. One good thing was however, it is open throughout the night and serves Maggi.

I don’t know why the parathas were distasteful for you. I have been working in convergys for quite some time and eaten paratha at the parathawala several times. I think it was your bad luck that you din’tget good parathas that night. About qualis, its the lifeline of call centers , moreover convergys has more than 500 toyota qualis so what you saw is pretty usual site outside any BPO.

quite right. i had better luck with paranthas the next day. however they still are no match for the dhaba i go to everyday for my lunch

It’s goes without saying that eating paranthas at the roadside dhabas is not only nauseating but also fraught with multiple health problems. These vendors who have no consideration for the public health never exercise an iota of hygiene while preparing the stuff to make paranthas and simply and invariably believing in making a capital out of selling the stale yet diseased food to the call center employees who are their major consumers. The bill should be drafted to eliminate the roadside dhaba for the sake of public health.

hey i dont no abt ur experience but i myself hv been wrking with convergys fr quite a long time now n the food at the dhaba is too guddd
try out veg. maggie or karahi paneer ,he serves itr with tandoori rotis…

I’ve been with Convergys since the past 3 years, and believe me, the food at the dhabas is disgusting. Maybe you should check the view from the back, lemme know how many pigs you found there buddy!!

Well, guys and gals whatever you say about this Dhaba, but I must say the Paratha and Maggi there is realy tasty and I have been eating it from past 2 years regularly and believe me I can go with these paratha and maggi for next dont know how many years……. And Sushubh let me inform you that the Dhaba near GE and that of near Convergys both are of same owner named Parveen…..

Well subash parantha might not be tasty that day but, try it again you would fine it tasty definately.

I think the food is ok at teh dhaba.. The only problem is the hygine.. Its aweful to just sit there and eat.. I mean the place reallys ucks.. I was tehre for six months but yeah i mean its better than convergys food…. 4 sure

oops….. a blog on paratha wala of convergys….first impression wow….next one sheeeeeet ( bong style )….anywayz i m living on those parathas,maggi & karahi paneer for last 2 yrs….gia forget those pigs and remember those sunrises in the cold winter morning and a cup of hot tea at the dhaba….maaan its hotttttt wid a sutta….and ur names sushubh.say thanks.

Man I would support all the people working at convergys that the food at dhaba is much better than cafateria. I enjoy this moment moset, Freezing clod winter with a cup of hot tea and Sutta rocks with this baby….

sometimes te food which is prepared in cafetaria is good but not all times…so dhaba is best substiute for that..

well ya i worked with AT&T for a long time and nw i miss convergys a lot, especially, the paranthas..they were yummy loaded wid butter n paneer..nw sitting in UK any1 wil miss those wicked hours of night and short breaks n mugs of coffee at the parantha wala outside convergys.
