Petrol Pump annoyance
From what I know, the regulations require the petrol pumps to have some basic things all the time…
This include:
Drinking Water/Place selling eatables
Usable Loo
Air Guy
Pollution Control
We all know how they provide the first two services. It’s not worth testing them on that. But why cannot the petrol pump owners provide 24×7 air filling services? Most of them have the equipment in place but there would be no guy standing there to do his job…

I had asked a petrul pump filler about this some time ago, and he said that as the air has to be free and the affiliated company (HP, IndianOil, etc.) don’t provide anything for keeping a guy at the air pump, nobody is interested in doing it. Even if you ask for a guy, it takes a good enough time for him to show up.

of course. that is why the rules are to be enforced to make sure that the petrol pump owners get the things in order.

leave abt water… i can see petrol stations with air filling facility… they will do it for free. but they still ask for a rupee or two
sometimes if there is no boy available for this, i will do that my self and go away..:(
