BillDesk: Whoa… How stupid of you

I tried registering on BillDesk to see if they could help me pay my bills online. Sadly, filling their registration form was awesomely stupid.

They did not accept the details I gave them because they claimed that I had inserted a wrong PIN CODE for my city.

Hell, if I am entering the city I am in, why do you need a pin code to go with it? Especially when you are only accepting limited cities…

Also, this happens to be one of those services which require you to put in a question and an answer for it to release your password in case you forgot.

Hell. You have my email id… Just send me a link to regenerate a new password through an email on that email id… As simple as that.

Just curious…why would you not know your pin code?

Anyway…guess if you try availing any online payments service, they are likely to have detailed registration requirements…either from a regulatory or policy requirement perspective.

Another problem for me while trying to register, my MICR number is not accepted. I verified 100 times and its giving an message box, “Please verify the MICR Number entered”. I couldnt proceed anyway.
