Zee Dish TV Headaches
Some channels have stopped working due to signal problem I assume. And today, the remote control stopped working.
I changed the cells from the AC remote. Still no use. I would try once more tomorrow by getting brand new cells.
I hate it when this happens. Especially with companies where you are not sure what kind of support you would get.
I tried calling Zee Dish TV support. It took a while before I got a person on the other hand. And she got me to do the routine crap like reseting the STB, reprogramming all the channels.
When that did not work, she put me on hold to get some help from some other person at the call center. I waited for a while and then gave up.
I would try to get some help from the shop which sold me the connection. I need that remote to work. Otherwise, it’s as good as useless for me.

Dish TV is total crap. They loot you. Thats their sole aim. Once u’ve made the blunder of buyin it , they’ll make u pay. Am also at the receiving end, like you

my remote also stopped working. If I apply some pressure on its sides and try again, it works for a few clicks and stops working again.
Did you get your fixed? If yes, how?

i got myself a new unit for around 200 rupees.
