Telnet on Windows Vista Home Premium

Cannot find this command on regular default installation.

How weird is that?

It takes me a couple of seconds to name my Operating System.

How weird is that?

Vista still has massive stability issues for me on wi-fi.

How weird is that?

I cannot access my modem through browser but I can ping it alright.

are you trying to access your linksys via browser and wifi? you need to enable the option to do that (wireless access) in the web setup (via wired LAN first) before you can access via wifi, at least on my model…

  2. vishal rao Says:

the option for “wireless web access” is in the “administration” tab of my linksys

and, i also had wifi stability issues with my now month-old tablet until i updated vista and the hp drivers, now it works nicely…

ps: you could have posted these problems on ibf, someone would suggest solutions! :)

i am trying to access my 220bx directly through cable. it worked when i tried doing port forwarding.

i used 6000-6005 ports. apparently azereus is not accepting them. need to try out bigger numbers.

    cant get in!

oh wait, i think on ibf you mentioned the modem is x.x.1.x and your linksys is x.x.2.x ? i also had problems with that kind of setup, so i put modem in bridged mode and the linksys router as pppoe mode dialler… that solved some access/config problems for me… i can/need to access only the linksys to open ports, no need to double work open ports on modem and linksys both…

  6. vishal rao Says:

or try adding a second gateway (your modem ip) to the existing gateway (your linksys ip)… see if that lets you access the modem? you said you could ping?

dude you really need to post on ibf, these comments will go on and on, and others might not read

  8. Sushubh Says:

heh. i am not using the router at the moment. i rarely use it. :) this is a normal connection. i think the modem is acting up.

    would post it tomm.

I can’t stand microsoft products anymore.. In my opinion Microsoft Office is the only thing that they did well..
I got impressed by the new mac os x Leopard…And thats why I moved to apple’s OS..
