Net4India is CRAP



If there was a service which touches all heights of crapiness… It is Net4India. They cannot do O N E Thing R I G H T.

    Really Indian Hosting company has still far way to go.... the standard of services need to be improved

    hosting? i do not even use their hosting services. i just want them to let me manage my domains properly. and they cannot DO THAT.

    i pay them money. i pay them good money. i expect them to do what they promise to do for me. but they are unable to do that. i do not expect them to do magic for me. manage a network of 120 websites and you will know how frustrating it is for you to wait for 4 days to get a domain activated with a potential big client sitting on your head waiting for his site delivered.

    i am not a normal customer of net4india. i am supposed to be a 'business partner'. so please forgive my attitude for demanding decent services.

    Net4India sems to be learning from its mistakes , They have just upgraded my existing 5MB web hosting pack to 100 MB web hosting pack with additional Email IDs and that too without any extra charge . I learnt this kind of upgradation has been done for all its customers and have drastically reduced the prices of web hosting

    It took net4domain.com 3 months to generate order code to renew my domain name. and by the time the order code is generated. the domain name was picked up by some auction company. All hail to net4 domain. I cant even sue the company cuz im more stupid that the staff in the net4domain.

    have I made a mistake by registering domain names with NET4 and also buying hosting space... spent around 20 grand (INR) and i have just realized it was a total waste of money..... here are the examples... i call CC and wait 30 minutes... till i get an operator ...who within a second...puts me on hold and is supposed to transfer me to the (engineer concerned) and that takes another 20 minutes...then i get a person on the other side who basically sounds like he/she just got up from a nap.... cant even understand what the problems are...... puts me on hold again.... ( annoying telephone music) ...and then it gets disconnected.... i have been trying to ftp to my site ... but it never works.... they suggest i use leech ftp and it still does not work... it has been over a week of daily contacting them and still nothing...... what can i do ..file a case in consumer court ???? ask for a total refund with interest ???? i am really asking you for advice.... because i am totally disillusioned with net4domain. who owns net4domain ??? does the CEO have an email address ???

    Net4domains, what rubbish, you see how good company is from support, you see when last time they spent any money on ads. They want to do everything, but be good at nothing. I say go with a domain company, a hosting company, not a company which try to do everything. There numbers are all lies, I asked one of there engineers, they have no bandwidth, are in debt, it is all show.

    They are so big, why do they get hacked every year, like everything in India, no one takes action, the CEO drives big cars, and makes news, has any newspaper editor asked questions, read all newspaper articles in last 5 years, $x million investment in bharatsmachar, $y million in net4barter, 100 cr in Voice, which one of them have they done, look at their accounts on their website, could a company making 10000 lakhs sales, ever make that big investment. Go and see for yourself, look at their offies, and ask to colocate a servers, or just buy leased line, see how much bandwidth you get.

    Look at team, who are they, they have no CFO, no one in their right mind can run a business without cfo, they have no CTO, and no COO. It is a family business,

    and yes I have domain and website, will not make mistake again

    Sanjay Kathuria is the person who look into hosting+domains, he is supposed to head it. Then speak to desi valli, the CEO Jasjit, is waste. Only way to get it done, is send email every day to all people, support, account, ceo, hosting head, everyday, even then you will need be lucky. Start blog like this with unhappy customers, get all people to start to make it public

    I wish i had read this post earlier. NET4INDIA IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER, they just do not care for their customers....unfortunately i have brought some services from them and now am paying for their folly.

    I have moved to another hosting provider but some of my money is stuck with them :(

    I am amazed that even the CEO and other people are least concerned.

    I am currently to some of my friends who have knowledge on consumer forum and I would definitely log a case against Net4India

    net4India does not have the right to be an ISP. Supports guys are fool, Technical guys are junk and Management is dull. They have taken money from me but not a single service is active. I paid in Aprail 2007, and now in November also I could not get any of the serivces activated.

    he is busy these days , Net4india just listed on BSE, price went 100Rs now down to 70Rs, it will fall. Buy some shares, become a shareholder, then CEO has to listen to all shareholder complain. You will get invited to AGM.

    Net4India is worst hosting service provider. I bought domain/hosting with higher price than market considering their name. But after that I realized that I have to buy email service, sub domain service and database service separately. Which comes down to three times compared to any scheme in the market. Now I am in the process of transferring, that is also becoming a big trouble.
    They have terrible customer service… No buddy picks up the phone for hours…

    Advise to all out there….. Please dont ever do business with Net4India.

    Hey! people help me... i was about to buy a WebHosting package from Net4.in ....but than i say your site and found that i need to think twice about net4.in....but please help me find a affordable whosting package if Net4india is not worthy.... in mumbai only

    I have been a partner with net4india since 2000. They had excllent service for 3 years, good for another 2, passable for 1, and now they are not merely incompetent, inefficent, unprofessional, they deserve everything that will be coming their way before they return dust to dust. I am posting this so that more people can be aware that NET4INDIA is NO-NO.

    I want to transfer domain names and hosting and e-mails and have requested net4india to give me the authorisation code for domains transfer to be able to do it, but to no avail. I need a complete break from net4india. I was told by net4india on the phone that I CANNOT change hosting or domain name.

    My control panel does not function properly, so I have been forced to speak on the phone to net4india though I have tried to put in queries whenever I can. However, trouble tickets have disappeared at different points of time. No matter who I have spoken to, eventually they plead helpless. The pattern is disconcerting. As a well established vertical, my site www.indiatravelogue.com was down for 16 days - it has completely lost google ranking. Of course I have lost on google adsense revenues, reputation and irreparable damage to image. Yesterday when I spoke to Joginder of Delhi, supposedly Tech Head, saying I am going to the Cybercell Mumbai to complain, my sites were put up in no time at all. However I still had no ftp access, despite speaking to them non-stop on the phone.

    I have written to the CEO, COO and neither have acknowledged my 3 mails to them. The solution to the trouble ticket queries are a joke in poor taste. I cannot manage hosting, domains, e-mails, details of my payments are not there , allocated space is wrongly shown as a debit balance. Everything has been pointed out to enough people at net4india. It would be difficult to mess up as much as net4india does, even if they spent all their time trying to mess up.

    When I go into my control panel in active customers it is showing as:
    database is currently not available due to some unspecified reasons. Please try again.

    Other times something shows but nothing relevant is clickable.
    Succesful orders gives no details of payments.
    split hostings show 1 remaining when there should be two and when allocated space is 210 of 250MB it shows as space left -110 MB
    If you go into each of the domains you cannot manage domains or hosting - it is non-clickable. Etc Etc. In short I cannot actually do anything with my domains or hosting, becasue I have no access.

    It kind of feels like being in someone else's nightmare. I cannot wait to get out of net4india and go ahead with my life.

    I wrote to the CEO and to the COO, and quote:
    I wish to transfer my domains as well as my hosting from net4india ASAP, but cannot do it until I have full control of my control panel.

    The fact is that you have FAILED TOTALLY in the services provided. Despite my addressing the highest authority in net4india, I am still faced with problems. I have not been given an apology or a serious hearing from anyone senior enough. It speaks volumes about where the organisation is destined to go. You are running a business, which one way or another was a pleasure to associate with till the relatively recent past. It does not require a business analyst to tell you where net4india is headed in the near future. Your organisation is a dinosaur, doomed to extinction, unless it ACTS.

    I hope you will address these matters, not merely for my convenience but for your own survival. Feedback from clients is the only real barometer of where you stand. They see the rot before you sink in it.

    I am sorry to have to addresss you thus. I would not like to go to the consumer courts or public forums for redressal. You are well aware that having sites down for 16 days with all the evidence of net4india's dysfunctional service and inept attitude would not go well anywhere if it were publicised. I really do not have the bandwidth or inclination to speed your downfall, because I see its inevitability, but I do not wish to be pushed to the wall so that I am left with no option.

    Courtesy demands a reply to this mail. But net4india never fails to surprise me in their ability to ignore a problem, so I will not be surprised by your silence.

    One cannot agree more with Sushubh and Romola. I am a Reseller Partner - Ha Ha !! Apathy to their customer - No control on their services , a Control panel that would win the laughter challenge hands down, customer Support that has made me lose more hair in 10 days than my wife has in 10 years....

    I have exactly the same issues as Romola - the active customers number is all crap, there is no way you can make out where a domain you purchased last year has gone. It's a hide and seek game in wonderland. I sent a mail to Jasjit Sawhney but got a call back from some customer support guy whose only motive was to try to convince me that all the points I had were already sorted and that I was only whining. If I had my way I would do a Rang De Basanti at the Indian Oil gole chakkar in NOIDA near their Corporate office and try to catch the attention of the management that appears to be intellectually challenged or is blindfolded and clueless of the customers state.

    Romola - you reckon the cyber cell would take the case?? or is Consumer Redressal Forum a better aproach?

    Net4India - Not4me !! and definitely for the weak hearted !!
