synergy? mmmmmmmm never used it. have used ssh, x over ssh, nx, vnc and thin clients. still open source rocks. just when i am done building linux from scratch (as of now stuck with kde in my LFS) may then post other ramblings and work around and how not to break your head when in deep shit.

yup it works on as many systems as u want it to

the fun is when u also have screens above and below ur screen

tried it tonite. works nicely. whole thing took 20 min from start to finish. got it working on TRIPLE screens, winxp desktop (server) on left, opensuse tablet in middle and gutsy laptop on the right
