I just hate it that I am totally incapable of getting out bargain deals from shop keepers especially Palika Bazaar guys… My friend showed me the concepts of bargaining by bringing down the price of a so-claimed leather Laptop bag from 2500 bucks to 900 bucks. He later said that the price could have dropped to 400-500 bucks if I had pursued.

heh, bargaining’s really my dad’s expertise. he often, for the fun of it, would bargain the prices from pesky salesmen and then would casually refuse to buy it. I remember once, incidentally outside Pallika, he bargained some electronic massager or something from Rs.1500 to Rs.100! I don’t think I have received that part of his genes.

right… and they specialize in playing mind games too. like this is the final price if you are paying right now. if you come later i won’t go this low again. hah.
