Nintendo Wii in India
Found this great source to buy the Nintendo Wii in India. It’s the US model so it turns out to be a pretty good deal.

I don't think I feel proud to see a F1 team named after India. The problem is that the team

At Rs. 17K, esp. with the dollar at Rs. 40, I am not sure it’s a good deal. Nintendo Wii with free sports games pack retails for $249 in the US, that’s Rs. 10K.
Also, JJ Mehta are good at selling (great prices) but poor at servicing. Unlike the US where the Wii comes with a 1 year warranty, JJ Mehta only offers a 3 month warranty.
I would rather wait for a big name retailer to carry it, especially with a 70% mark up!

A US Wii will work in India with a voltage converter, at most, you will also have to change the video type on your TV to NTSC format.
However, keep in mind that you need to purchase game titles that are coded for the US region.

Hi:
I recently purchased a US wii in Walmart. Other than the Voltage converter this one caught my attention “you will also have to change the video type on your TV to NTSC format”
How do I change my TV video type. Any help is appreciated. I have a Panasonic Color TV (India).
Thanks
