Motorola L7 Speaker Problem

Now, this is a weird problem I am facing with my Moto L7 phone. Speaker has stopped working. It won’t ring at all. Won’t play the ringtone when a call comes, won’t sound when I try to play a music file.

It is out of warranty and the Motorola repair center in Gurgaon is a horrific place to visit. Totally useless people working there.

I just discovered the same problem on my L7 yesterday. Glad I found these simple instructions - save me a trip to the shop. Tap the phone face down.
Genius... Works great again...

Happened to my L7 today as well. PM's advice to gently tap the phone face down on a soft surface worked great.

That just happened to my L7. I found another site that described how the speaker is assembled. It's just clips into place. With that said, I just activated a song on my mp3 player, then I gently tapped the phone face down on my mouse pad. It put the speaker back into place, and the sound started working again. Hope this works for you.
BTW...The website I found also had instructions on how to open up the phone.
