Insanity Rediscovered

This has happened for the second time for us. Their billing system is totally faulty. Last time they charged like 40 bucks extra on a Deodorant Can. And today they overcharged a packet of corn flakes by Rs. 5.

I bought the packet worth 40 bucks. I had expected them to give me the packet for like 1-2 rupees less.

Surprisingly, the bill came at Rs. 45!

I discussed the problem with the dude on the cash counter and he had just one solution for me. Since he cannot give me the cash back as it is logged into the system, I have the option to taking any item worth Rs. 5 from the store.

I could have taken it with the store manager but decided never to shop again at Spencer’s.

I usually buy my monthly supplies at Spencer’s and the bill runs into couple of thousand of bucks. It is practically impossible to crosscheck the price of all the items at that very point.

Better to go the next retail store in the market. Garg Dastak is what I pick up until Reliance Retail opens up…
