And it's the same with the metallic case of my Macbook Pro. It's an earthing issue. Or, this being India... a complete lack of earthing in pretty much everybody's house. This also shortens the lifespan on a lot of appliances... from PCs to washing machines. Just imagine getting a nice little shock from your hot water geyser. That would hurt. Yeah man. And it’s the same with the metallic case of my Macbook Pro.

It’s an earthing issue. Or, this being India… a complete lack of earthing in pretty much everybody’s house. This also shortens the lifespan on a lot of appliances… from PCs to washing machines.
