Motorola L7 and RAZR V3C Shocks
Am I alone or the Motorola’s metallic phones tend to give you electric shocks if you try to touch them barefoot when they are connected to a power source?

It could simply be some issue with Earthing at your home. Faced this issue earlier myself.

well… the adapter is connected on the APC UPS which is further connected to the main Microtek UPS…
the metallic body of the RAZR gives me shocks if i am barefoot…

Yeah man. And it’s the same with the metallic case of my Macbook Pro.
It’s an earthing issue. Or, this being India… a complete lack of earthing in pretty much everybody’s house. This also shortens the lifespan on a lot of appliances… from PCs to washing machines.
Just imagine getting a nice little shock from your hot water geyser. That would hurt.

Get earthing in your house checked. Specially if you own a lot of electronics.

I have a sweaty palm and it happen to me a lot .. I can sometimes skip coffee in the morning now.
