Was it my fault with Tata Indicom?
I guess, the Tata Indicom guys were after all right to some extent. The problem probably lied in my handset. I replaced the aging Nokia phone with the oldest RAZR CDMA model and things seem to be fine now. Even in my basement. Pretty cool.
No rants?
Duh. I have several.
Tata Indicom is selling the Moto RAZR V3C model. This one is basically an extinct model. Has no expandable memory slots. The software is old and would not let the device work as an external drive. Or maybe it’s because the memory inside the phone is not made accessible through the USB socket unless Motorola software is used.
Reliance is on the other hand offering the updated CDMA model of the Moto Razr. It supports an external storage media which I had like to have with the better-than-VGA 1.3 megapixel camera.
The good thing was that the Tata Indicom guys were able to switch my connection to the new phone within around 15 minutes. The bad thing was that my incoming stopped working after a while and it took some effort on my part to complain and report to get it fixed. I am however not sure if it’s working at the moment…
