Awarapan
Ok. Completed my movies of the week with Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan. Was a decent movie. I had expected something much better.
Emraan Hashmi just does not have the screen presence required by actors in an action movie.
He also lacks the timing to deliver the dialogues perfectly. In the end, he looks like a misfit in Awarapan.
But I like him as an actor. Especially, his mischievous smile. You are kept waiting for a long time in Awarapan to see that trademark smile and it comes at the very end. And you get your money’s worth.
You like it a lot when he is smiling from the heart in the movie. And he has not been doing that in his recent movies. Awarapan was nice overall.
The surprise package on the movie was Purab. He could turn out to be the next Ranvir Shorey.
