Apne… Umm Hmm…
Ok. First thing first. The movie was not bad. It was hilarious in parts. Though it was not supposed to be. But we had fun watching it amongst a houseful of people. Yes. On a Wednesday, the house was full in the 11 am show!
The problem? Too much usage of the English language. We are watching a movie featuring Dharamender and Sunny Deol. We don’t want them talking to each other in bad English Right? But that’s what we get.
I had liked the movie a lot more if there was a bit more usage of the Punjabi language. Sunny and Dharamender does not look good speaking English Bobby can manage that somewhat.
Otherwise, it was good fun. Only worth watching if you can survive Dharamender. I usually can’t but this was alright. I guess, he would get his old touch back after some more movies. No match for Mr. Amitabh Bachchan still.
