APC UPS in Indian Conditions
Update: THE WORST UPS YOU CAN BUY IF YOU ARE IN INDIA.
I have experienced it and Brian has just confirmed it. The UPS system from APC specializes in disconnecting the power supply (due to fluctuation I guess) when the power comes back! Not when the power goes…
He also notices the random shut downs of the UPS which happens for no apparent reason. Some American technology this is! Even when they are making the UPS systems in India now, they have not learnt from the Indian conditions.
I have 4 of these in my office, bought on the recommendation of a friend .. and i am so pissed off

I prefer Proview and it works like a charm. Gives me almost 20 min with the monitor off and if the electricity goes.

i have the four ups from your company in december 2006 and at this time there is no battery backup in my UPS so it is in warranty period please do some needful
