Economic Times is Stupid?
Generally, I consider ET to be one of the better products from the company which also churns out the famed Times of India.
But today was different. The newspaper is running a poll with the question:
Do you think the iPhone can replace your PC?
God Damn It. This gotta be the stupidest question for a poll in India ever. Several reasons:
1. Apple iPhone is not available in India
2. It is unlikely to come to India for at least 2 years.
3. It has not been designed to replace a PC.
4. It cannot be activated WITHOUT a PC.
5. You cannot load new songs/videos on it WITHOUT a PC.
This are just five quick points that comes to my mind when I look at that question. What do you think?

I agree with the inappropriateness of the poll. I also think the iPhone (and everything else Apple makes) sucks big time, replace the PC my ass!

Well, you can activate, load songs into a iPhone with a Mac
(you don’t really need a PC for those). Anyways, iPhone is a phone. How lame it would be if I ask “Will you throw your computer, if I give this iPhone to you?”
