Or look ay synaptic or aptitude (as Ubuntu is a debian based distro, it should have these) and see what linux chat clients there are that can do file transfers. Sorry. Linux port lags behind Windows by many notches. Still, that is some saving grace. I'd prefer to use Gizmo for online VoIP because it's based on Open SIP standards. Just like the Wengo Phone.
