		<description>Why not install Wine and run windows apps through it? Or look ay synaptic or aptitude (as Ubuntu is a debian based distro, it should have these) and see what linux chat clients there are that can do file transfers.</description>

I'd prefer to use Gizmo for online VoIP because it's based on Open SIP standards. Just like the Wengo Phone. Skype sucks that way.</description>
