Lara is history. Thankfully.



I don’t like Brian Lara. I never have. I think he is a person who cares more about personal achievements. The loss against England looks like a fitting farewell to the dude.

I remember reading about how he desperately wanted to get back his record for the highest score in a Test Match after it was broken by Matthew Hayden. He did that by scoring 400 not out. Match result? Draw.

I would love to see someone break his record once again. I would not be surprised if he makes a comeback to get his record back. No matter West Indies lose the game or it is drawn.
