Checked out Chevrolet Spark and Renault Logan at showrooms
So we went to both the Chevrolet and Renault showrooms to check out the two new cars launched in the Indian market.
I was more interested in checking out Spark and I ended up getting disappointed. I did not like the build quality of the car.
Interiors are pretty disappointing. I am not sure why I felt like that but I certainly have lost all my appetite to get this car. The car does look pretty neat from outside.
Renault Logan was pretty interesting. Extremely good value for money. Interiors are practical and the car is very spacious. Build quality was average. Not interested again.

Please do not buy Spark. I have bought and have realized that there Dealers are pathetic. They do not have qualified dealers. It seems like they have offered Dealerships to those who used to run Mom&Pop Stores. There dealers are fraud. They charge for Handling charges worth 2800/- over and above Ex-showroom price, Insurance, MCD Parking, Smart Card. But they do not offer any service for this money. Infact they keep waiting the customer for more than a Week for Registration. When you try to approach General Motors, and leave complaint nobody from General Motors repies. Management of GM seems to be very proud of Spark but they are blind to their dealer network specially those in Delhi as I bought this cars from their dealer in Central Delhi called TRIUMPH MOTORS. My suggestion to everyone, even if other Car companies are offering their cars they are very customer-centric. GM is sleeping over it’s pathetic network. Do not buy any GM product. I am suffering. They have fooled me and now I do not want rest of the other valuable customers to be fooled.
Also they do not have spares with their dealer called Triumph Motors. Triumph Motors is located is central Delhi, so any one would trust and go their to make purchase. But, they are not at all Customer-centric. I can assure you, once you would have bought your car from Triumph Motors, they would not even attend your calls for any support.
Also, they do not have any accesories. Basic accessories like Gear Lock etc are not available and customer is always prone to theft as he is not able to secure his car.
Please be cautious and evaluate before you buy as General Motors Management does not listen to any complaints. Neither do they react. Customer has turned out to be a fool, the way they are managing.

I am planning up buying new car in this segment and just got across spark, since its a new commer in the market & Chevrolet brand. But i heard Chevrolet being US car brands is not competitive enough in the car segment than European models. US models are not usually good as is said in card models specifically. Please leave your comments. Thanks

It is not right to judge the performance of a product with respect to the dealer. This cannot decide the quality of the product. You should take it up on higher level at GM. (This needs follow up - with every company)
With regard to the quality of Chevrolet Spark, I am the proud owner of Spark. Extremely good driving comfort, styling is good. Fuel consumption avg @ 14-15 km per liter (city & highway). Quality of the interiors is good.
As regards to the brand, Chevrolet is a renowned brand & people really look at your car when you go out.
