Some more gyan for the BCCI
People seem to dislike the idea of my complaining about the lack of performance by the Indian cricket team. Here is another brilliant idea.
Hire 30 of the best players available in the country. Do not give them contracts. Make them your employees. Get them to work 20 days a week. Either they play the Ranji Trophy or other local tournaments. Or they get their asses to the nearest BCCI approved facility to practice. They get their usual weekends off plus a couple of other leaves.
Give them a salary per month. A special fee for every match. And a bonus for every win. But get them to work like regular employees. Give them benefits like pension after retirement etc.
This should solve the problem for all. They would get their weekends to do their endorsements. People would not complain that they are not serious about cricket. It’s a regular job after all.
