Airtel NetXpert

I am pissed off at Airtel. One of the two Airtel lines we have at our place has been facing a lot of downtime in the recent days.

I left a query with some hard words at the call center to get it fixed. They fixed the line alright. But that started the calls from the company asking us to install their Airtel NetXpert software on our machines.

I clearly told the guy that I do not want it. But he kept repeating that I should get it installed on my system. In the end I had to yell at him asking him whether he would personally come to my place to fix my machine in case the NetXpert software messes it up.

That shut him down for good.

Oh… btw, NetXpert will not work if you have IE7. They happily downgrade you to IE6… Grrr.. I mean who are they to decide what browsers can I have on my system. How do they even come up to my door step offering to downgrade me to IE6 for their great NetXpert software which I am sure is crap.

  2. I see that the very basis for NetXpert is the fact that your Airtel network will go down and when it does, you can use NetXpert to diagnose the problem and bring it up yourself.

    How enticing.
