Greg Chappell: My opinion

Now that he has resigned as the coach of the Indian cricket team, I had like to say something about this man I have never liked.

He is after all the guy who once ordered his brother Trevor Chappell, to bowl underarm along the ground to a New Zealand batsman so as to avoid a tie in a one day international match.

He is of course a clever dude who has managed to escalate the rotting of the Indian cricket culture. If he had so many issues with the cricket players in the Indian team, he could have just resigned at a proper time and given the reasons for his decision publicly.

But he did not. He stayed on as long as he could. In other words, he did a Sachin Tendulkar. Now that he is out of the mess I call the Indian Cricket, I believe he would move back to his home and get a big signing amount for writing a book on the thing Indian Cricket is.

Making the best of the opportunity after all. Sadly, Bob Woolmer chose the wrong country to coach.
