Indian Marriages

I was discussing this topic with my friend. Most of our friends are married or are going to get married sometime this year. So the topic continues to haunt us most of the times.

Here is what we discovered…

Girls: They benefit the most from marriage. They gain freedom. They get the dude who becomes her legal guardian. She can go to late night movies, discs, parties (Of course, you are going to accompany her everywhere no matter you like it or not). It’s easier to control your husband than your parents.

Boys: Big losers. Before marriage, you are a free bird. After marriage, you cannot go out and hang out with your friends. You have the responsibility of looking after your bride. You have to accompany her to places you would not ever visit otherwise. You become answerable to your actions to your wife. It’s back to childhood once again. Your life is controlled and dominated.

If you have anything to add, just don’t use profanities…

you make it seem that we have all the perks but we do not! it seems like men can just go off and be home whenever while we sit at home waiting hand and foot at every beck and need they might think of, and we dare not object.
