Chevrolet Aveo U-VA: Sporty looking car



So, I finally saw Chevrolet Aveo U-VA on road today. It was pitch dark and the car looked very European and sporty. GM finally has some exciting products in their hands. With Spark coming soon, their car range should be more or less complete. After that they should begin by launching an updated Optra which looks duh when compared to Chevrolet Aveo.

    Hey Guys,

    This Shiva Motors for sure sucks as they are the most unprofessional people on planet. Let me clarify here, the Floor manager in the showroom, forgot his name, can’t stick to his words and is very rude. Also, I know the owner Amit”..of the showroom, did schooling from DPS, but is as a louzy entrepreuner as it could get. These are obnoxious arrogant people who should be sended to Andaman Nicobar jail and tortured there naked and apparently thrown to crocodiles.

    They are messing up the name of Chevy. Customer support here in USA is great. If you have a problem, they will take responsibility and make sure it has been taken care of, but in India, they think that they can do whatever they feel like….They can’t even do a good paint job to match even 90%, whereas in the US, you can’t tell…take my words for this…..my brother’s Acura TL was hit twice and repainted and fixed, you can’t tell at all, even the pros. can’t..this is excellence in workmanship…I hope indians will one day hopefully start delivering quality, as all’s not $$$ in life, there is a thing called duty, responsibilty, ethics and dignity…which seems to have been lost to these dealers….

    Well, i had real BAD experiences when i had an Optra and now Aveo U-VA, though both are great cars…though optra is owned by Suzuki in US and is Forenza by name. Chevy Aveo is same here…and is sold quite often …. but with a 15inch alloy rim…and tail spoiler as well…cool lil car !!!!!

    I know how you feel off, but the booking of spark has far exceeded the limits of the production, even I booked spark initially but my sales executive in gurgaon told me that I would not get my car before January as the demand was very high and the supply is less.

    The mistake you have done is you had made the whole payment. now the dealer would know that you have to wait for the car and cannot get the payment back, he will make you to wait for longer, as the ball is in his court. I would request you to wait patiently till january and not to change the models from PS to LS or LT.

    when I was told that i would not get my car before january i felt off but i went for AveoUVA basic model for 4 Lacs. even that is a very nice spacy car. why dont you check out that option ?

    Yes Mr. Satish, have gone ythrough your details of May 8th, 2007 at 05:42 pm and agree for Poor management for Customers. I am also facing same problem. Have paid full payment of LS model of spark to TRIUMPH MOTORS, E-13/29, HARSHA BHAWAN, MIDDLE CIRCLE, CONNAUGHT PLACE, NEW DELHI PH:011-41536071/77 on 20/10/07. But have not received car till date instate of regular reminders to them [at least 30 telephonic visit & four personel visit (even along with my family members"")]

    First of all their Sales Exicutive Mr. Indersingh has commited that they will deliver the car with in weeks time after receipt of payment i.e. by 27/10/07. I got a call from gentle man on 3/11/07 for delivery. As i was not in Delhi, immediately it was confirmed to him that I will visit on 6/11/07 for delivery and mutually date was decided.

    On 6/22/07 undersigned gave a ring to Mr. Inder and reached in TRIUMPH along with my family members and Driver (Six persons). To my great surprise!!!! The car was n.a. and no body was understanding even their own fault about wrong feed back and misguidance to customer.

    Have talked to The Owner & Mr. Sethi (Manager) and they gave me 3RD commitment that we will get car on 11th (Sunday) evening. Undersigned asked the commitment in writing. Them they gave written commitment of 12/11/07 for Delivery of SPARK LS/ICY BLUE colour.

    Although the commitment was from top level and we reached their on 11/11/07, their was no body from sales to in Triumph to give service to customer. Ironically it was holiday of their sales staff. Other available staff was BLANK……… about written commitment of their owner & manager ( it means they are totally un-professional).

    On 12/11/07 (today) since early morning, we were trying phones of sales rep. (Mr. Inder) but he was not picking up mobile. When we contacted at office Ph. no., no body was available to give correct feed back to us. At last Mr. Inder picked up phone and clearely denied about their capability to give delivry of Car which was booked on 20/10/07. He toled in plain language that what can he do!!!!!!!!!!! even the commitment of has MD(owner of TRIUMPH) & Manager Mr. Sethi is not being taken care.

    Then I contacted on Mobile provided by Mr. Inder. That gentel man told he will convert the lower version PS to LS with power window & will colour the bumpers also. He assured it will look like upper/ordered LS version. These things realy hurt me and I lost all the confidence in this dealer and General Motor(GM) which is more responsible. GM must keep track for these false practices even in their Showroom.

    Am still waiting for feed back from any body which will be in line to solution………………………….
