Insanity Rediscovered

Second movie I saw today. One of the better ones I have seen in a long time. Had fun throughout. I guess Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani should concentrate on these kinds of movies rather than spending time on movies like Don.

Characters

Abhay Deol: Does a nice job once again. One of the hidden talents of our industry. Plays the character of a kid who gets booed in school but turns into a superhero by accident!

Minissha Lamba: I don’t like her much. Plays the better half of Abhay Deol. Same story.

Shabana Azmi: I need not say anything about her. She is fantastic in this movie as well.

Boman Irani: Impressive once again. More likable than the character in Eklavya. Shows how good a performer he is.

Kay Kay Menon: Another nice performance by this dude. Closest to what I am in real life. Things can get nasty when I am drunk!

Raima Sen: Surprisingly does a good job.

Amisha Patel: She does a role of a woman you would not like to be married to. Unbearable. Usual stuff I guess.

Karan Khanna: Who’s he? No idea. But does a decent job.

Sandhya Mridul: Does ok.

Vikram Chatwal: Surprise package. Does a good job surprisingly. His accent is cool.

Ranvir Shorey: Funny little role for this dude.

Dia Mirza: Decent performance.

Arjun Rampal: Does a cameo. Is he trying to impersonate John Abraham?

Summary: Do check this movie out. I believe it would be hard to find something as interesting as this in the coming months.
