Government bans AXN
This gotta be one of the most ridiculous things to have happened in India. The government banned the channel for apparently showing a serial showing television’s sexiest commercials.
And the channel was showing this serial past prime time television.
The government really should concentrate on controlling the mess they have created by forcing the consumers to upgrade to CAS from their regular cable TV connections. Parents are responsible for controlling what their kids watch on TV. And adults should have the right to see what they want to see.
India is after all a democratic country. That is what I was told it is. I think.

AXN was my favorite channel…and am really upset over its ban…how about banning all those saas bahu serials and mika’s latest video…why are women’s organisatons silent over those? whats the big deal about a program on sexiest commercials…..the decision is ridiculous
